Overview
Sugarcane is the foundation of Santo Ângelo's sugar and ethanol production. It is grown and harvested in Pirajuba, Minas Gerais, and processed at our own unit.
Cane is not an export product in itself; it is the raw material that becomes VHP sugar and fuel ethanol, and whose bagasse residue we cogenerate into renewable electricity.
