An agro-industrial producer in Minas Gerais, since 1984
Usina Santo Ângelo Ltda was founded on 13 April 1984, with its first harvest in 1986. From Pirajuba, Minas Gerais, it produces sugar, ethanol and grains for the domestic and export markets.
Sugar, ethanol and a distinct grains line
From Fazenda São Cristóvão in Pirajuba, Minas Gerais, Santo Ângelo has produced sugar and ethanol for decades — crystal and VHP sugar since 1996, and renewable electricity from bagasse since 2014.
Our VHP sugar is produced specifically for export, and our ethanol is authorized for export to the United States. Alongside these, crop rotation gives us a genuine grains line — soybean and sorghum.
We operate our own warehouse/storage structure (Armazém) and an aerial-spraying unit (ASA Aeroagrícola), supporting crop quality and reliable supply.
